I'm not a Honda guy, but I'd like to know more about what the abbreviations mean. I get the B and D series of engines, but is their a resource that lists exactly what a ZC or an EG or a HG is? Or exactly what engines came in what model of Honda?

I just see all these abreviations and would like to learn the lingo.

I'm sure if you do a few searches you will find a big list of engine codes and the cars they came in.

 

There was a question posted like this about 6 months ago.Do a search and im shure youll find it.

 

you should be able to find this online on google. Just search "honda engines" thats should help i think
