Yeah, that whole "Format C:" thing isn't working. It asks me for a key I don't have. :-\

you dont need a key to format your hard drive... are you trying to format while in windows? plz say no

---- I don't know. I'm just trying to erase the ---- that's on it. It won't let me put XP on it while this other bullshit is on it and it won't let me erase the bullshit.

Restart the computer and before you operating system boots go into your bios and select the cdrom drive to be the primary boot device. Then restart and it will boot from the cd and never access the hard drive and you can do it from there. The reason you cant format it is because you are running everything off the c drive so its like suicide to itself if you format while using it. Just restart after you change the boot order. Its easy from there.

if you do a low level format that means everything will be gone

You have to idea how long it took me to type that. I was so drunk i spent like 5 min rereading and editing so that it made sense.
