Question On Tires...
So I'm selling my rims (hopefully soon) and was going to rock Fat Fives; however I thought about buying really nice (only 2) tires for my 14s. I have 4 good all-seasons to rotate on the back and just run the good tires on the front. Anyway to the REAL question. Is WIDER always better? Here is a good example:

Not necessarily THAT tire, but along those lines. Kind of like a "ghetto cheap DR" if you catch my drift here. I want my times on street tires, but they have tire sizes that are 245/60/14 which is insanly wider compared to my ones on my Rotas being 205/45/16. So any opinions or ideas? Too much of tire bad? Once again HMT, I thank you for all your opinions.

Re: Question On Tires...
That's a pretty fat tire. Wider tire means more traction than the same tire that is skinnier, period.
Wider isn't always better, in the snow a wide tire sucks ***. You'd want a skinnier tire to cut through the snow and give you some traction.

Good idea for summer tires though?

Re: Question On Tires...
I run 205/60/13 which is pretty big for a 13" wheel that usually has 155 tires. Actually hooked up better with less wheel hop than a 205/40/15 on the street.
I dunno if 245 would be a good idea or not, there's a good chance it would rub. I'll try and get a picture of my steelies.

How did the 13s run better? More rubber in between to dampen maybe?
