The carbs definitely need a rebuild if they've sit for all these years without starting up, so you may as well throw them in the bin and go with EFI.

In 1986 very few people even messed with turbos, let alone a single turbo dual carb pressurized box. The only setups back then were running twin turbo dual carbs..........

You posted a picture of the engine bay and still didn;t realize that the car didn't have a turbo. I'm not gonna be a dick and call you a dumbass (although I don't blame the person who does), but don't try and talk about things you know nothing about. Chevy made transmissions called turbo-hydramatic 350 and 400, and 200 actually. this does not make the car turbo. a turbo charger is a spinny thing that pushes more stuff into your motor

turbos have been around forever, and people have put them on cars forever
