Re: quad guys.. need some help

ok guys so when I took the ignition apart there were two wires so what I did was hook them both together. So it should start right? But, it was a no go.
Is this all I have to do? Now I am going to hook it up to a switch and see if that works, but doubtful...

All let you guys know the outcome in 10 minutes. Till then keep giving me info.

isn't it like you need to hold a brake to start it?

Atleast.. that was on my quad the case..

goodluck.

dude, relax... it's just a quad... not end of life.

Eeuuhm... does the sparkplug fire?

it's like... so weird.. the only thing i can imagine is the key a sort of code in it... but that probably won't be the case..

Re: quad guys.. need some help

the key doesnt have a code or anything for a blaster and you dont have to hold the brakes or anything..if you have those wires tied together and its still not firing the plug then i believe you have some other problems..try gettin a different plug off of anything just incase the ceramic is cracked on the inside of the plug and the spark is going straight to ground..it cant be anything too hard cause those bikes are suuuuper simple..keep us updated man..

Re: quad guys.. need some help

blasters are real simple man....when my buddy lost his key we were able to go to autozone and get a generic ignition switch and hook that up, i know on the blasters too it is real common for the ignition ground to come loose. take the seat off and look at the ground for the ignition make sure it is tight, thats happened to us a few times.....good luck

I eliminated the key on my Banshee but I don't know if the wires are the same color as a blaster.
