Default putting my motor together, pizza, beer and music provided, details inside!

well after getting assraped at the machine shop, i will soon have everything i need to slap the bitch back together

things i need are here and i'd gladly pay for someone to bring em

Cherry picker (may be able to borrow one localy but not sure yet)
flywheel bolt for Z6
oil pickup bolt for Z6
piston ring compressor
Timeing light

other then that im 99% sure im set

im setting the date for saturday of next week, i know its pretty close to july 4th and may present problems for some, but its gotta happen then with or without help, so i'd really appriate any help that comes, if anyone wants to bring hamburger or anything to have instead of pizza, i have a BBQ and you can cook it or i can

anyone close enough to come is welcome

im located about 50 miles west of norfolk in Nebraska, anyone who wants to come pm me and i'll give you my addy

its all goin down in a two car garage with a couch and a freezer to chill the beer, i'll bring my comp up to play some music and ----

plenty of parking for 10+ people outside

if a mod could sticky this that would be awsome, its my first actual build and i'd really prefer some help instead of goin completely solo

which basically translates in to about 73% - there's always going to be that stupid crap you find out later that will cause you to be running to the parts store about 5 times.

have fun though, i'm at my happiest when I'm putting a car back together. Sometimes I think I like working on my car more than driving it.

No, you're missing a fuckton of parts. You have to be, since you don't know the car inside and out, which is why you are semi-worried and want help.

chris is being nice for once, not chewing on your ***, and telling it like it is. *You* took your car apart, *you* need to put it back together. Only a handful of people know their Honduhs well enough to assemble one out of a bucket of jumbled bolts. 99.5% of the cheesedick ----------ers you invite over to lend a hand are like as not to ---- something on various levels ranging from inconsequential to significant.

Get a couple guys over midday, take a break, eat some pizza, and ask for advice if you have any Q's at that point. It's a good time for pictures + internet Q's, too. When you go out for the food you can decend en masse on the parts store or junkyard for last minute small bits, and generally harass any stray women you come across. It's good fun. Then, go back to work and put your own car together... if one or two guys sticks around to help, fine, but *you* call the shots and check over their work.

See where I'm coming from?

i understand where you guys are comeing from, and i do feel like i know my car well enough to do it, but i dont have 1st hand experience at it so i just wanted some help incase i come across something i dont know what to do, i'll be doing 95% of any work done on my car, 100% if i feel i can get through it

just because i havent rebuilt it before doesnt mean i dont know what goes into building it, i've spent a long time planning a build and have 75% of everything i want, i ran out of money for the rest and decided to go with stock components or something close enough to make me happy

i wanted a couple spare hands around incase i make a mistake or they know a way to do something better, basicly like insurence, if i start to ---- up someone can say "that dont go like that dumbshit"

i have everything accounted for but the two bolts i stripped, a timeing light, a cherry picker and a piston ring compressor

everything else is new, headstuds, oil and water pump, timeing belt, turbo, gaskets, bearings, clutch and flywheel, WBO2, etc

once again i appriate the input, and like i said its going together with or without help, but something this important i just want help "just incase"
