Re:put vtec motor in crx
i dont know how to explain it, but you know that sensor or plug on the back side of the Throttle body, thats like slanted down, it also has these rivet type bolts, well i had to change it because the one it had before(the one that came with the vtec engine) broke off so i put a D16A6 one-could it be that?
Also the map sensor, is that the thing thats on the passenger side, bolted to the firewall? if so im using the Si one. |

where is the Defective IAC valve, defective fast idle thermo valve? where are these things located?
|
Re:put vtec motor in crx
yeah, you can extend the wires and use the map sensor on the tb instead of the old one on the firewall, your iacv (idle air control valve) is located on the back of your manifold, right after the tb, it can also throw a code if you have a vacuum leak, check all your vacuum hoses and tb gasket.

also, there are no long and short blinks on a pm6 ecu. they are all short/fast blinks, then pause, then more short blinks - until a repeating pattern is formed. i believe the long and short blink stuff is for obd1 or 2 ecus. |
