i guess my main point is that phillip rivers is overrated. he has a stellar offensive line, and the best RB in the league. you could put anyone in that position and they could be 12-2, especially with the way their defense is playing.
true, it would be interesting if Eli manning would have never got traded to the undisciplined giants. I bet his season would look better if he would have stayed with the team (chargers) that drafted him, but no, he is a Manning and has to go to big city new york. WHOOPS

without a real quarterback TO isnt ----, he doesnt have half the stats with that tony HOMO character as he did with the eagles.
terry glenn is only 100yrds behind owens w/ 14 LESS passes, they both have the same longest catch, and glenn averages more yards per pass than TO
hell Jones has a longer RUSH than TO has caught a pass, by 20 yards

and tony homo isnt much better than bledsoe, isnt it funny that bledsoe has gotten sacked more than tony homo when he played less games?? maybe the O line is making the difference and not the QB. or maybe someone upstairs finally realized that they werent getting what they paid for, bledsoe wasnt throwing to TO because he wasn't making plays. they payed a lot of money for TO, and bledsoe DOESNT like him. and for good reason. check TO's stats w/ homo vs w/ Bledsoe. you'll see what i mean

and for the cowboys returning to greatness, yeah ------- right

well without a real quarterback no reciever is ---- since a fake quarterback can't throw a ball.

The cowboys will return to greatness, you must have never heard of marion barber or julias jones, two great running backs. Parcells is there for a reason

ok before you go run your mouth, go and actually look at the stats. the entire time bledsoe was in there he was throwing the ball to glenn because he was producing(and still is) and TO wasnt, TO goes and whines like the little bitch he is. Bledsoe doesnt care about who's whining he throws to who's making the plays and the front office doesnt like it because they spent so much money.

and to remeniss a bit, didnt the eagles make it through the ENTIRE playoffs a few years ago without TO when he was injured he's a whiny bitch of a ball hog who doesnt do anything but talk ----

you are correct in saying they have (and almost always had) a pretty running game

just winning a few games in a row doesnt mean you are "returning to greatness"

that is a completely false statement. they made it to the playoffs, without TO. he helped to take them to the super bowl.

besides, the eagles had a better defense than dallas does now, and Donovan McNabb at QB. obviously, he's far out of the same class as tony romo.

you need to go back and look at San Fransisco Terrell Owens days. Jeff Garcia is basically the same QB as Romo, in what is a similar offense. TO has skills, and can break tackles better than any reciever. this is not even mentioning that he's been hurt all season, playing with the torn or strained ligament in his hand.

basically, you're argument sucks. but i do agree that the cowboys are not returning to "greatness"

he is a good reciever no doubt, but he isnt as great as everyone thinks. using his hand as an excuse is pathetic. i bet more than half of the players in the league are playing w/ some sort of injury that affects them. if his hand was that messed up he wouldnt be playing

really my argument was based on the fact that he is a better reciever than he's showing this year.

go break one of your fingers and tear a ligament where you can't make a closed fist, and catch a football. he did come back from the brokend finger injury in 3 weeks as well. besides, even with his hand messed up, he leads the league in TD cathces.

Edit* ---- the seahawks

I am so ------- sick of there secondary defense. (ya ya ya philip rivers got shut down, but they still gave up the most important play of the game)

Atleast they are in the worst division in football and still clinched the division today, not like that even matters though.
