Props (Thank you Seahawks, for the early christmas gift)

This thread is to give props to some major PLAYERS in the NFL

1st LaDanian Tomlinson (for obvious reasons)
2nd Philip Rivers (for a hell of a second year quarterback)
3rd Terrel Owens (for spitting in peoples faces and being a great player)
4th Julian Peterson (for keeping the Hawks alive)
5th Tony Romo (for Bringing the Cowboys back to potential Greatness)
6th Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and all of the arizona cardinals (for showing mad potential)
7th Reggie Bush (for pretty much being everything he was in college)
8th Chad Johnson (for being great, and for coining the nickname Ocho Cinco)
9th Josh brown (for winning 4 games with less then one minute left for the Hawks)
10th and most important Props To VINCE YOUNG (for being a stud, probalbly winning rookie of the year, and going on to be a ledgend)

You're correct on the first two, T.O. is a selfish guy who cares nothing about the team and shouldn't be on any list except a stats list.

About Tony Romo. I heard an announcer say something that made a lot of sense. Not to say he hasn't been great, but when the Saints crushed them last week, it was because for the first few games, no one knew what he could or couldn't do. Now he's on tape and they can find his weaknesses, which is exactly what they did, shut him down. Now the only thing left is to see how he reacts.

Chad Johnson, I love watching this guy, easily one of the best receivers in the game, and hilarious to boot. Did you guys see those cleats he was trying to wear? :)

alright, you must not have seen any games this year, they went from 0-5 to 7-7 you dumb ----, he is a rookie who runs like vick, throws like culpepper, and is as big as mcnabb.

those cleats were ------- sick, to bad the uniform policy is gay and they wouldn't allow him to wear them. You can't deny TO's talent and his stats

Too bad he also had like 15 drops this year. The only thing they get paid to do is catch the ball and when he can't get that done..... but you're right all his other stats are amazing. No doubt he's an incredible player, but he just got snubbed from the pro bowl game! :D

jaykew99 12-20-2006 05:07 PM

Re: Props

yea no probowl, possible reason for drops -> torn ligement in finger for second half of season so surgery would end the year for him. lets face it the cowboys can't lose t.o.

MAD PROPS to Marion Barber aswell

duante culpepper is bigger than all of them.

ray lewis and ed reed don't make the list. besides, phillip rivers isn't even that good. they have a great offensive line, and a diesel RB, kinda like the seahawks last season.

chad johnson, easily the best reciever in football.

what about zach thomas and jason taylor? it seems to me like you don't know ---- about football. you wouldn't happen to be in the fantasy league, would you?

hey fucker if i wanted to name every good football player, i would have named them (hence leaving out peyton manning and marvin harrison). but since i didn't want to name them all, i thought i would give props to the players that really shined in my book. As far as not knowing ---- about football your dead wrong, what do you want to know?

philip rivers is basically a rookie and i would say 12-2 is pretty ------- good since he didn't play hardly at all last year

Jason taylor is having an incredible season, too bad the dolphins can't get there ---- together cough harrington cough

Ray Lewis is overated but still a deadly force, ed reed is a baller

champ bailey is truly a champ

sorry my list wasn't up to par for you SEAN salsbury

Re: Props

dude, i never said the list wasn't up to par. there is plenty of great football players on it.

i guess my main point is that phillip rivers is overrated. he has a stellar offensive line, and the best RB in the league. you could put anyone in that position and they could be 12-2, especially with the way their defense is playing.

true, it would be interesting if Eli manning would have never got traded to the undisciplined giants. I bet his season would look better if he would have stayed with the team (chargers) that drafted him, but no, he is a Manning and has to go to big city new york. WHOOPS

Re: Props

without a real quarterback TO isnt ----, he doesnt have half the stats with that tony HOMO character as he did with the eagles.
terry glenn is only 100yrds behind owens w/ 14 LESS passes, they both have the same longest catch, and glenn averages more yards per pass than TO
hell Jones has a longer RUSH than TO has caught a pass, by 20 yards

and tony homo isnt much better than bledsoe, isnt it funny that bledsoe has gotten sacked more than tony homo when he played less games?? maybe the O line is making the difference and not the QB. or maybe someone upstairs finally realized that they werent getting what they paid for, bledsoe wasnt throwing to TO because he wasn't making plays. they payed a lot of money for TO, and bledsoe DOESNT like him. and for good reason. check TO's stats w/ homo vs w/ Bledsoe. you'll see what i mean

and for the cowboys returning to greatness, yeah ------- right

jaykew99 12-21-2006 05:59 PM

Re: Props

well without a real quarterback no reciever is ---- since a fake quarterback can't throw a ball.

The cowboys will return to greatness, you must have never heard of marion barber or julias jones, two great running backs. Parcells is there for a reason

ok before you go run your mouth, go and actually look at the stats. the entire time bledsoe was in there he was throwing the ball to glenn because he was producing(and still is) and TO wasnt, TO goes and whines like the little bitch he is. Bledsoe doesnt care about who's whining he throws to who's making the plays and the front office doesnt like it because they spent so much money.

and to remeniss a bit, didnt the eagles make it through the ENTIRE playoffs a few years ago without TO when he was injured??? he's a whiny bitch of a ball hog who doesnt do anything but talk ----

you are correct in saying they have (and almost always had) a pretty running game

just winning a few games in a row doesnt mean you are "returning to greatness"

that is a completely false statement. they made it to the playoffs, without TO. he helped to take them to the super bowl.

besides, the eagles had a better defense than dallas does now, and Donovan McNabb at QB. obviously, he's far out of the same class as tony romo.

you need to go back and look at San Fransisco Terrell Owens days. Jeff Garcia is basically the same QB as Romo, in what is a similar offense. TO has skills, and can break tackles better than any reciever. this is not even mentioning that he's been hurt all season, playing with the torn or strained ligament in his hand.

basically, you're argument sucks. but i do agree that the cowboys are not returning to "greatness"

Racintweek 12-23-2006 10:40 AM

Re: Props

he is a good reciever no doubt, but he isnt as great as everyone thinks. using his hand as an excuse is pathetic. i bet more than half of the players in the league are playing w/ some sort of injury that affects them. if his hand was that messed up he wouldnt be playing

really my argument was based on the fact that he is a better reciever than he's showing this year.

go break one of your fingers and tear a ligament where you can't make a closed fist, and catch a football. he did come back from the brokend finger injury in 3 weeks as well. besides, even with his hand messed up, he leads the league in TD cathces. :6

HAHAHAHAHAHA ---- THE NY GIANTS, they just got owned by the saints. I am really hoping to god that seahawks can put together a good game today. Unfortunately I have a feeling L to the T is going to run all over Seattles d Line. ------ niggz

Re: Props (Thank you Seahawks, for the early christmas gift)

Edit* ---- the seahawks

I am so ------- sick of there secondary defense. (ya ya ya philip rivers got shut down, but they still gave up the most important play of the game)

Atleast they are in the worst division in football and still clinched the division today, not like that even matters though.

dallas got pwned just as i fugured they would, the novelty of Romo is wearing off. he's looking pretty worthless right now.

just because he has a torn ligament doesnt mean his hands dont work at all, having busted hands is pretty common for DB's and WR's, its just that T.O. is a whiny bitch and he makes sure he has an excuse before he fucks up

he even said he can't close his fist, so basically he's catching with one hand.

oh, did i mention he's still leading the league in TD catches?

he couldnt even catch the ball when he tries to cradle it. he didnt have any problems catching that TD that was thrown a lot harder than a 40yd pass. he just wants numbers not to win.

oh, and did i mention its not helping the cowboys. just because one player on your team is the best at one thing doesnt mean you are going to win. did you not watch them waste 4 downs trying to run in form the 1?? or see romo get smashed all game. even when he had a chance to throw the ball either TO dropped it or the eagles secondary was all over them (note the 2 int's). i'm sure romo's GF really enjoyed that game ::)

Re: Props (Thank you Seahawks, for the early christmas gift)

i think you might be getting confused. here's a couple statements to clear the air.

i don't like the cowboys.
tony romo sucks dick.
TO is the best reciever in football at breaking tackles. He has a torn tendon in a finger, where he can't make a fist.
TO leads the NFL in TD catches.
TO also leads his team (maybe NFL, not sure) in dropped passes.
Daunte Culpepper is bigger than any other QB mentioned in this thread.

you are correct, he is Leadin the NFL in Td catches and dropped passes (15, i think) his finger is definately affecting it. He can't keep his mouth shut though and either him or parcells will be gone next year, guarentee it.

why do you hate tony romo? he is only 8 games deep in his nfl career, give him some time, he will be decent.

BIGGEST PROPS TO - JEFF GARCIA (he not only is going to win the conference for the eagles but is also going to give the a chance in the playoffs.) no doubt him and the eagles are probalbly the team with the most momentum in the NFC right now.

GoBigOrGoHome 12-30-2006 12:37 AM

Re: Props (Thank you Seahawks, for the early christmas gift)

---- V. YOUNG. He can lick my balls. He runs like a queer and throws like a woman. Oh yeah look and see how well running QB's do. Vick is doing great isn't he.. haha not. leave the running to running backs like my boy BUSH and the throwing to QB's like Matt Lienert, drew brees, and matt hasselbeck. get a clue, Texas sucks ass! ---- texas. ah im pissed now.
