like it says, here's the vid. notice how my stock n/a b16 pulls on his turbo charged d16z6 on almost every pull. he was usually getting me by about half a car on the jump, then i was rolling by him. most were done from third gear, but notice the second gear pull (the really dark one, i had the windows up) ;)

damn dude i got disoriented as hell. couldn't tell what was what. i did see you pulling by him on a few runs and then the second gear pull you pulled away pretty hard. 8)

the camera man should be beat for that video. hahaha he did a decent job of following franks car but the lighting was horrible. you need to catch frank in the daylight.

ok, let me sum it up. the camera is from inside my passenger seat, so when you see tail lights, frank is in front of me, when you see me coming up and passing corner lights, that's me passing frank.

tail lights = frank in front
head lights = me in front


yes, the video sucks, but it's better than us arguing back and forth saying "na, this is what 'really' happened".

obvesouly the camera man was in kevins car. i didnt think my taillights look to bad from kevins view.

i always was ahead of kevin till about 100-105mph. from a dead stop, i really think he would own me.

not to make excuses, but after about 95mph, i lost all clutch pedal. it would go dead, nothing there. no pressure what so ever, so i was maxing out 4th gear, and not being able to shift into 5th. i think its from no DP, the heat heating up the slave cyl, and heating the fluid. -either that or the fact i have synthetic fluid mixed with non syn. something is fucked up with it. :-\

but ohh well, i thought it was pretty interesting. 5psi on an untuned d16 vs, ubertuned b16 was pretty even from a roll. it all depeneded on who got the jump on the start.

so other than that, it was a good time. hopefully sunday we can go to the track. -or at the least get some daytime footage sometime this week....

seriously, those were all the clips i had on the camera, the first two pulls were where you really got me and actually stayed ahead, but even the second one, i was like "hold on" b/c i didn't know we were about to go. either way, i knew it would be pretty even, but yeah, i think i would own you from a dig too, at least we agree on something ;)

i think i already admited that. i knew i wasnt gonna blow you away, and you werent gonna smoke me or anything...but over-all, it was just clean, fun racing, just like its suspossed to be. it was a good time. pretty even really.

A boosted Z6 should be owning 99% of the all motor hondas it races, except from a roll, then you should be owning 100% of the all motor hondas. Looks like you need to step it up.

im still untuned, 5psi, a chain and a spring as a wastegate, no down pipe, a CEL i havent checked yet, different sized tires up front, bald ones in the back, (which one blew out on me last night on my way home from base, dam good thing not while we were running...) and i dont have any BOV yet, and crushbends/flexpipe for chargepiping.

so yes, there is LOTS of room for improvement. not sure of how much im gonna fix though. probably get a BOV on it, and the new tires, a DP and tune it, it should be alot better after that. ;)

i don't consider my car 'all motor', that makes it sound like i think it's fast or am trying to make it fast with out a power adder, i just refer to it as 'stock' :P all i have is a gutted cat, a hand me down obx header that i took from a b series turbo install i did, and an ebay short ram intake. i know my car's not fast, and i don't make it out to be. just wanted to clear that up for the records ;)

yeah, that "stock" b16 isnt exactly "stock". I whipped a type R, and not the R your thinking of kevin, a PY yellow one, which was stock down to the stock air filter.

I dont know how I could get beat by a "stock" b16 but kill a type r? kevin didnt exactly whip the ---- out of me, and i didnt whip the ---- out of him, as said before, it was pretty even. when i took the type R i took him pretty hard, by a few car legths. that also from a roll.....
