Re: Primered cars???

I've been thinking about this for the hatch but not sure if I can go through with it. Gotta fix the cancer on it but since it's just my beater/daily driver it's just gonna get a tub full of bondo or some fiberglass to fill in the holes! lol.

My rear quarters are primered because I haven't had money to re-paint the car after I filled the rust holes. Oh well. O0

You would paint over the primer. It is a basecoat, a foundation for color and clear for a two stage job, or just color for a single stage job. Why would you remove it?? ???

Because most of these guys are flat black primering the car without the proper body work which needs to go under it and right on top of the existing paint, so all that has to come right back off.
