But i guess there is no real way to prevent a stolen car or items. Except a garage

Its also very easy to install a fuel line cut off switch, it wont make sure you keep your car just slows them down and they might quit.
also easy to install a starter cut off switch.
I have both plus a paging alarm with cut off relay so if the alarm is going off it wont start and I always turn my fuel pump off and starter when i leave.
switches are hiden so they it would take a long time to steal my car.

Jeff had a great idea of pulling your ECU also.

get a gun. bottom line. let all your neihbors know you have one and i dont mean by telling them. that means waving it around in your front yard when your joking with freinds. poppin off rounds into the air at 2am, and not just when your drunk either.

that would deffinitely prevent theft.

Install flame throwers under the car triggered by an alarm.

Great ideas, where can i get kill switches and cut offs like you have. If someone really wanted your car, couldn't they just break your window, pop hood take out battery and tow the vehical away? Just take off the ebrake? :'(

If someone really wanted your car they would just take it, Its called theft prevention not theft proof. Adding kill switches alarms and all that just makes it harder for them to take it. Theives look for the easiest way thats why they are thieves, If you make it hard on them they will most likely look for an easier car to steal.
