I know the type. Long story short, he ended up owing me 10 frikken dollers and I never saw him again. I look at it as 10 bucks to get him out of my life, money well spent, but time wasted on a loser.

Wow, what an asshat. You did everything 'right' and he was a whiney bitch about it. He can go suck his own nuts. 100 dollars was worth the friendship to the other guy obviously(well 50), so why keep it(the friend ship)?

hmm, I would have probably gave him the 50 bucks since it wasnt like a ---- ton of money or anything. However, the way he reacted is completely out of line. (especially for a best friend)
