OK, uhm.. in addition to the other "I wouldn't do that" comments.. let me add one simple thing:

I hope you didn't seize and bolts, or fill holes, or cover sensors, or anything.. oh yes, and your engine will feel the heat. Good luck, keep us posted.

From what I can see, it looks as if he masked off everything important. He should be good, but the paint will flake off in a few days.

So, is this for a show car that will not see operating teperature or something? It looks cool and everyhting, but as everybody else has said, it is going to be very poor at disipating heat. As for the painted block, you are so fucked man. That paint is going to peel off there and stick to whatever it hits when it falls off. That is going to be one nasty engine compartment when its all said and done. I know this from personal experience and I'm not trying to insult you or put down your work. If I were you I would get that paint off before you install it.

Same here, my L28 block was baby-blue... was.

Now it looks like it has 3rd degree burns and peeling skin.

Did you bake your paints? I didn't have problems with my turbo headers before, the paint smelled nasty as ---- when it got to operating temperatures... and eventually started to disolve.

I just figured while I was bored to do the whole damn thing
