Possible new Daily Driver.... Opinions?
 

Found this gem in the paper today. Its a 1990 STD? Hatchback. Its got some rust as you will see, but I don't really care since its going to be my daily driver slash winter beater. The awesome part is that its only got 88k on it. The only owner is an older gentleman who was very religious about doing maintenance. He has all records. Here are the pics... Think its worth the $1000 he's asking? ;D

1000 he is asking is because of the 6000 mpg it gets most likely :X

That would be a 4 speed. That rust would kill me, but body work is one thing I can't handle. If it's got a dent or rust, it's getting driven with the dent and the rust.

I'd say it's well worth it. What else can you buy with $1000? I bought mine for $1625, but it's an Si with a ZC. :P

Get it and the 4 spd is bad ass and 40 mpg is cool too. Still have my old std shift knob

I dunno. That looks like it's gonna start paint chipping and falling apart when it tops out at 60 MPH... But I'd get it.
