Portland?

Re: Portland?
i lived in portland for quite a while. i love it there, but i know nothing about the car scene. then again, i could care less about car scenes.
good skate parks, great weather, and the food is awesome. that being said, there are a lot of mexicans and the job market is really effing tough, so make sure you always have a back up plan. koreans, i pissed off one in highschool and you can imagine the hell i went through for a year. drivers are very prude, compared to minneapolis, where i am from.
i say do it, for sure. there are a lot of people that want to live there, like myself. my mother is there and coincidnetally enough, she owns a condo in mccall. so she might be the best to tell you the differences.

Re: Portland?
Portland has more strip clubs per capita than any other city in America... and a ---- ton of micro-brews.
I've only been down there as a tourist, but I think it's a great city. It's like a smaller, better version of Seattle.
Ask Pat (BeerBongsKickAss)... he's from that area.

Re: Portland?
I live in Portland. Too many ****** hippies especially in Southeast Portland. I don't really pay attention to the car scene. But the strip clubs are top notch and they serve food. I frequent a strip club called Acropolis. They serve breakfast.

Re: Portland?
i live in longview, but take the 45 min down south almost every weekend to have fun....i also did deliveries for a print shop from longview to portland alot! the drivers suck ***, there are a lot of bums that just walk out in front of you with out looking, too many dumb ***** on huffy's, and thats bout it that i can think of for the cons....the pros would be great food (a must would be the montage for spold mac and voodoo donut....both great late night spots to eat), more strip clubs than the mind can handle, you got the trail blazers if you like basketball, the seahawks 2.5 hours away up north if you like football, and portland has a tripple A baseball team down town if you like baseball with tickets as cheap as like $5. I like the rock venues. they get alot of good bands (last good show i was able to go to was about 10 months ago....soilwork and throwdown....absolutly brutal ......but they have had crufest, warped tour, rockfest, foo fighters, and matallica is playin in november...if you like them). they have a lot of good clubs too. as for the job scene, ask johnny (random-strike), last i heard he was workin in portland....but overall its a good city to do a lot of things in if you can get past the dumb ---- drivers, hippies on bikes, and bumbs
