port forwarding for my torrents!!
Alright, so i'm on a freshly rebuilt laptop because my hard drive ---- out on me a week or so ago. I'm trying to get my port forwarding working again so i can download faster.
I have been following this guide: http://www.portforward.com/english/r...5/Utorrent.htm to the dot and it's just not forwarding. Utorrent runs the test to see if the port is open and it keeps failing. When I had it working earlier I remeber it was a bitch then to set up. i think I just opened a ton of the ports and it eventually worked. I've been trying this for like 3 days and I just don't know. help! |

Okay look. Use any ports over 50000 Like 51233.. Okay so you put that in utorrent to use 51233. Now in your router put in to open ports 51233-51240.. Sometimes utorrent takes longer or shorter to recognize it. Change ports about once a month or less. Oh and for the type use both.
