make sure you have no fish eyes in it. you might think it looks good, but unless you put a guide coat on it, it wont be perfect.

well here is the story, after i ran out of sand paper on saturday i was too tired to get any on sunday, even though i used some left over sand paper and finished the rear hatch emblems. Anyways i got sand paper today on my lunch break, and now today i will go home after work (in 30 mins) and continue sanding down the sides...

i will take pics today and post them.

Chingo, way to go to get free advice from someone who wanted to charge you to do it.

Yes, the way you are doing it works well, don't plan on winning any best in class car shows. I'm from the old school of body work where they can tell when you use bondo. Then again the old cars have thick metal and won't warp to hell when welding.

Since you are going this far, just sand/primer the entire car yourself, save the money and know the job is done right. Then spend the extra money on the paint job, Laquer paint jobs are so nice.

I hate side moldings, only good on a grocery getter that gets beat up in the parking lots.

i still have to sand a few areas some more, before i primer it. then i will start to sand the rest of the car starting with my WHITE bumper and BLACK fender..LOL
