PIXS FIXED 5/18: shaved side MOLDINGS TODAY ,
Today was just like every other day, and i was just sitting there looking at me car through the window at my work and was thinking to myself that i am happy with the motor and setup.
BUT
i am really tired of looking at my car and seeing a regular integra.
SO i decided to just do some body work shyt,
I HAVE NEVER DONE ANY BODY WORK IN MY LIFE
I did alot of research and read countless articles, and even visited few body shops and got all info i needed to do all the work of removing the moldings and signs.
I went to "auto discount" and got all the material needed to remove the SIDE MOLDINGS, and ALL EMBLEMS"
i already removed the moldings, and rear "acura" sign and "A".
THE CAR WILL BE REPAINTED THIS OR NEXT WEEK. I will take pics of it and post them up tomor.

Re:SO F_ING BORED, i decided to do body work!!!
Nice, I just did my sidemoldings etc too. be careful if you decide to weld the holes up (which would be better than bodyfiller) because the door skins are really thin and too much heat from welding can warp the shyt out of the panel. I had that problem in a few spots, so trying to get everything straight can be a pain. I want some pics though.

Re:SO F_ING BORED, i decided to do body work!!!
A body shop told me how to get that problem fixed.
Hit a dent in the holes, like take a hammer and make an indent with a radius of about 2-3 inches (the hole in the middle), so when you place the filling on it, it will be thicker, and will not warp, nor weak, and if you put a SMALL piece of tape on the hole, just covering the hole, and then put the filler over it, will not fall in the door.
tricks of the trade

Re:UPDATE 5/15: shaved side MOLDINGS TODAY ,
i just finished shaving the side moldings, and also the rear emblems. (dame the car already looks alot different)
everything came out great, and it looks really good, i am currently sanding it down with a 300 sand paper getting it ready 4 primer/paint.
update: i ran out of sand paper, so i will take a break and finish it tomor.

i was told about that way, but the shop told me the way i did it is easier and is just as good.
Reason this way DONT WORK is because people dont indent the holes, all u have to do is hit the surrounding area around the hole in (like a dome with the hole in the middle)
i did this and NO filling fell into the door, and it works like a charme.
AS SOOM as my roomate get back from the beach (he has the camera) i will take some pics.
