i'll get a pic sometime.

when i first got the bov, my car needed to be running the next night. the bov came on a 1.5" pipe or something. and i had 2" throughout the system, so i used a hacksaw, hacked the whole area of the bov flange off, then cut a square into my 2" pipe, welded it shitt'ly.. then sealed it up with rubber sealing double sided tape, then ABS cement all around to seal it better..

I cut off the stock flange on the stock elbow pipe and welded it to my charge pipe near the tb... check it out

Thanks guys! The main reason was because my buddy had an old rusted pipe laying around with a flange on it so I took it. I wanted to see if it was the same size and if I might be able to use it. I'll try and get a pic of it so you all understand what I'm talking about. Thanks for the pics though, I really apperciate it. ;D

LOL, The reason behind this is that the short ram is part of my charge piping, For now the car is NA because I dont have everything ready yet, but when I do I will have the other part of the short ram going down under the bumper, it will then be connected VIA a coupler to the rest of my charge piping/intercooler

We do not plan to offer any aluminum weld flanges at this time. Of the HMT'ers that weld, most do mig or stick which means steel only. So that is the group that we design for. Aluminum woul take Tig, and very few of our guys have those.

Kinda a dumb ricer question, but can it build up enough pressure to blow off? I mean when your N/A on your short ram. Can you rev up pretty high in the rpms and it blows off a little or no? LOL. Just curious.

Are you serious? You would have to produce 7-8psi of boost to make it open.

it doesnt take any boost to make it open, just vacuum...but there would be no pressure difference when it opened so there would be no air released/no sound

If you add 2 holes.. you could cross sell it as dsm bov flange and Greddy flange. Easy way to double the market for the part. I know I spent some time drilling and tapping my dsm flange to accept my greddy, so if you have these getting cut... shouldn't take much more effort.

We already have the first run of 50 cut. We just need to get them packaged and in the online store. We'll keep that in mind for the next design.
