Pics of the new crib.

Well, in October I'll be moving to Lakeville Minnesota. The wife is based out there (Northwest Airlines) and commuting just doesn't cut it anymore. The cost of houses, quality of schools etc vs. Ca. just calls for it.
So this weekend I went out to Minnesota and bought a townhouse. 2 bedroom, a loft, 2 bathroom, 2 car garage ;D and a fucken lake 100 yards from the house. Yes its gonna be different, but the quality of life when you have a family definately makes decisions for you. Here's some pics:

Our house isn't really built yet, but this one with the truck in the drive is what it will look like before the grass and all.

I know this doesn't seem turbo related, but I'm actually gonna turbo the house when I get a chance.

Re:Pics of the new crib.

The pics are from the model home, so the furniture and all that won't be mine. The house was 180K. If that same place was here in Ca. in the ghetto, you'd be looking at 300 at least. That's why I won't be staying.
It will definately be different, but I think the pro's outweigh the cons for sure. I'm just excited to finally have a garage.

There's no way I'm uploading all those pics and then copy and paisting them. Especially with the 200 pop ups per minute with my new spyware something. Porn ownz me. ;D

Re:Pics of the new crib.

180 yikes! You can get that same thing in texas for prolly 100-120

Re:Pics of the new crib.

Yeah, I didn't think we'd be able to find this much for that price. the complex of about 60 houses is surrounded by the lake on one side, and the rest is pretty much like forrest that's labeled "sacred whatever the ---- you do you can't tear it down", so I think the neighbors will finally appreciate my Brad Paisley cd's if you know what I mean. ;)

What's this parahna ---- all about? ??? I know Ca. has sharks (way out off the beach), FL. has allegators, and ---- like that, but I don't know what the ---- MN has.

Re:Pics of the new crib.

nice place man. 180K, its so crazy how much different houses can cost across the country. Your right Steve, that home in cali would probably run 300K, but where Im from, in Indiana, probably at most 100K. Very nice place though! Congrats!!!! I cant wait till I can buy my own place and stop renting!

MikeJ-2009 06-21-2004 12:38 PM

Re:Pics of the new crib.

I couldn't get any pics of the lake because the real estate agents camera only had 14 pictures.
Now that the So. Cal crew is all put together, I think I'm gonna work on setting up Minnesota as the next turbo hot spot. Together we can revolutionize the HMT scene, one state at a time. :D

Jeff, does that mean you'll be offering Princess for the show? Didn't think so. :P

Re:Pics of the new crib.

I'm ------- jealous... we have a house but i'd LOVE a townhouse instead because of less outside maintenance... my only condition is that it has to have a garage. Which YOURS DOES you bastard ;)

Nice house.Make sure you by a snow blower. That is a must, even if the driveway is small.Trust me on this, you don't want to shovel 3 feet of snow.I'm in the next state over(wisconsin).Good luck with it.

Actually the association dues of like $100 or so covers plowing the driveway and the front yard. I couldn't go wrong with that, especially since I've never lived near an inch of snow in my life. :D If I had to guess, my version of plowing the driveway would be to turn on the hose and hose down the snow until it was gone. 8)

Snow n00b! How can you use the hose when its -10F out? You won't have snow anymore, you'll have 4 inches of ICE. :P

Congrats on a nice house.

Congrats Steve.Ive been trying to convince my wife to move somewhere else too.We could take the equaty from our house and by one in another state cash.It would be nice to have no more mortgage payments and just have a mediocre job with no stress.

I dont blame you for moving.

Now you can join the mallitia :P

Remember, beer bottles will float in the lake. Must fill them with water first, then chuck them in the middle and they will sink.

true that, and if you get really drunk it's always better to fish with a shotgun.
