And yes, the windshield is cracked....while bringing the car home, the hood flew up and smashed it :( So thats next to replace after the paintjob.

I work at a privately owned Radioshack, and because we are privately owned we can order products from different suppliers, unlike corporate stores. Anyway, customer had ordered the wing for his grand am.....can't quite figure out why you would have a wing on that car, but after ordering it he lost his job and coudln't buy it. Worked out great for me because shipping was $80 some bucks, and I got it for list price. So....big, yes, but I figure with the paint and everything else done it will look halfway decent.

Over all I got about $600 off of a complete west wings body kit. Can't complain about that.

Turbo's going on as soon as this thing comes out from the paint job. Will have plenty of picks of the installation for you guys to see.

appreciate your opinion....---- you too. I think the reason why im posting on this site is because I'm making a HOME MADE TURBO KIT. Also the reason why it's being put on after the paint job is because first of all it goes in monday, and I don't have time to put the kit on in two days.

And on a final note, I know if you are going to have a nice looking car it better have some balls, and that it will.

i look at your car and laugh. if u drove up to ANY true place where racers hang out, u would get laughed at. that car is ricey. i also notice in your screen name that your car is auto. hm.. thats to bad, not your car will have ZERO credibility. and this is for you ricky: CTR hadlights are hot, and ur right, F&F body kits are not. do everyone a favor and put all the stock ---- back on and use the money that u get from selling the body kitto swap out the auto tranny. than we will respect you.

Like I said before, this is a project car. In the first place the car needed body work, so instead of buying stock everything that was damaged, why not put the money in a body kit? Wether you like the kit or not is irrelevant, I like it. Second of all, who gives a rats ass wether or not it's an automatic or not, I'm doing the best I can with the money I have. For most of us on this site, money doesn't grow on trees which is why we make our own kits, It's cheaper (in most cases).

Ricey, you think its ricey. Around here in Cleveland Ohio the deffinition of ricey is some stuck up punk kid throwing an exhaust and rims on his car, then driving around on an ego trip. That's "ricey". I'm trying to make this car look nice as well as have some power, so have a little respect. If the car was just a body kit, I don't blame you, that ---- pisses me off too.

you could have gotten a whole oem kit on ebay from my main man jon at partsmartone.com for about 400 bucks if that

i gotta radiator support, fender, grille, lip, bumper for under 500 and that was with the ebay rediculous shipping.

paint job doesn't take presidence over that window my friend. these are the little things that prove ur a ricer.

for the car being auto, yeah that really blows cause honda auto trannies really eat dick..
im not here to hate on you, just stating my opinion. u can say i paid way too much for ctr headlights and so forth blah my car is crashed and all this other good junk and i just laugh. u get mad, thus proving ur a ricer..

but hey ur right man. its good for me that i can put in a turbo kit in 5 hours. im also one of them stuck up arrogant dicks that would tell ur ass to come to philly to help u install ur kit

um... ur gonna blow up your automatic tranny with the turbo kit. just to let you know. and i know all about making due with what u have. im piecing together a turbo kit for the motor i have coming. all of this is going in an 88 crx HF that i paid $500 for. its flat black (cause i painted it), has 196k on it, but runs decent the way it is. we all make due with what we have, i just think that iu made a bad choice, cause yer auto tranny will give out with boost. have fun with he auto tranny rebuild

Reseal your motor mounts, brett is right that tranny is going to fry fast under boost. Watch for detonation.

Hey man, I think the car "looks" pretty sweet and it'll look even better when its painted. I get the same ---- about my car and bodykit, but I already turbo'd it and I show the car in the summer. So don't get down about people bustin' you. I mean what the ---- you gonna do? Put a stock looking car in a show and expect to be judged seriously? I don't race much, it's more for shows in the summer, that's why I did all kinds of crazy ass body work.
And as for you turbocharging an auto, you can do it, but I would definately concider getting a tranny cooler. But even with that your going to cook the insides faster than with a stick. Good luck.

You guys are raggin on me for how it looks, fine. Like I said in my previous posts though, it may look ricey to a lot of you, but atleast im trying to back it up with an engine. Yes, it's auto, but if someone came up to you and offererd you a 98 civic ex with 47000 miles on it for $2,500, are you going to turn it down? In my case, Hell no! I'm driving around a POS chevy lumina right now thats about to fall apart *lol*. The wing, yes I know it's big...I don't even know if I like it yet until the thing gets painted. I'm not a member of this site to make enemies, nor am I trying to offend anyone, so if I am, I appologize. I like the body kit and figured some of you might like to see it....I was wrong there.

hey guys i saw the pics, the car is black, with a flat black kit, a F+F treminator 2 wing, ALTEZZAS!!, and like, 3 hubcaps. and the body kit looks like ass, plus there is like fiberglass and bonda all over it. it looks like complete ass. and i really dont care if the car ran 8.3 in the 1/4 mile. i would never drive it. and would i take a civic with 47k on it for 2500? sure!! but it wouldnt go on the road till i pulled out that gay ass automatic tranny. i would never put that amount of work into an automatic car. and yes... you WILL blow it up. i would like to know, how many people on here actually drive an automatic car?? not many. theres a reason for that

I agree with Brett on the Auto tranny thing... I don't have a problem with getting a good deal on an AT, I'll probably even have one in my garage someday. But I wouldn't put a bunch of money into it if it wasn't exactly what i wanted. I'm not saying you gotta wait for an NSX or Porsche, but you can wait until you get something that is easier to tweak and more fun ro drive.

Which makes me wonder... are you really into cars for the thrill of driving, or do you just want to have a car that looks better and is faster than the next guy's? I don't know about anyone else in here, but I can't stand the thought of not being able to drive a manual. For the purposes of the joy of driving, I would take my slow 5-speed Civic over an automatic Corvette anyday of the week. I know you got this car because of a great deal and all, but who's to stop you from selling it and buying a Manual? AT cars are worth a little more anyways. I am just glad that when I stumbled into my Civic, it was a 5-speed... otherwise I'd probably be in the same boat you are in (minus the rice)

that sucks that that guy pussed out and took down the pictures. Here's what I have to say: What the ---- turns heads? a turbo tucked into your car that no one can see or a body kit? I know I look whenever I see a bodykit around here, why? because if it is done nicely in this area they probably spent some money making it fast too. I know a guy who has a cf hood, body kit, 18s, lowered, several video screens and hatch wings that runs 13s. I don't see why every body has to come on here and say "that ricey" when they could be wasting their time making their own damn car better.
