That's why in the last five years of owning DSM's I've never been stranded by one, have put over 75k miles overall and over 200+ passes at the track, and easily twice that on the street.

I suppose that's how they got the reputation as an unreliable car?

I've put over 75k miles overall and over 200+ passes at the track, and easily twice that on the street on my SSAC turbo kit and it's never left me stranded in the 5 years I've owned it. That must mean SSAC is the best and everything the make is God's gift to man.

Get real, DSM isn't that great and nobody cares if you picked up your 5th one yesterday. Fist yourself.

Race them on the weekend and they Don't Start Monday

J/K man, yea, they do have some reliability issues, but I had a 90 AWD TSi and I liked it alot. It was a fun car. I never had any real problems with it but I didn't beat on it that much and never messed with the stock boost level either. I don't think they are any more unreliable than your average HMT'd Honda, they just have different weak points.

A car is only as reliable as the person that works on it. DSM's get bad reps' from shitbags who think they can turn wrenches. I don't take lightly to people insulting my cars and work.

I'll get some pictures up when I'm home off work.
