I think it looks like dog ----, but you probably already knew that.
Unless the finish is fucked up, you don't have to take the old finish off. Just scuff them with like 400 grit, prime, and paint. Aircraft carrier remover? Is that a military tactic?

Well I wanted an accurate spray pattern so thats why I just oversprayed the wheels onto the tire. I read about that aircraft remover stuff on honda-tech. I guess a few people did it there. Oh well

I just did the wheels on my work van because the rust on them looked like doggy ish. I used masking tape and it actaully has enough flex in it to mask all the way around the wheel. (for next time)

When you get new tires, everything will look 10x better because that overspray really takes a lot away from it.

I just cleaned them with TSP and scrubbed the ---- out of them. I bought two packs of 3X5 note cards and used those block off the tires. I'm still debating what color to do though. I have a black car, so I might just keep the silver.
