good tip about the lights I didn't know that. I can reset the box no sweat and it will still be overclocked, when I pull the plug on it, reset bios and I got normal clock speeds and all my drives. HP was smart JD they used good ----. Dell used cheap ----. Its odd, I can run Sis Sandra on this thing all day with no problems but just no drives. Im goin to try a different PLL and see what I get I suppose.

i wouldn't bother overclocking a stock Dell PC. They're just not built to do it properly. Alot of times when you overclock the CPU, things like the PCI bus, north bridge, south bridge, and other controller get affected and do wierd stuff. I just don't bother with it, the performance gains arn't worth frying your PC or screwing it up for a few megahertz more.
