so he was pulled over on the 5 for broken tail light or what not. and was taken to the dakota county jail for. no liecence, no registration, and no insurance. usually you just get a ticket for this (speak from experience). but he had a warent for failure to appear on a ------- speeding ticket. i call the jail on the 5 in the pm and bail is set at $6000. i was like ---- for trafic ---- ! anyways there was a bond hearing on the 6 so me being a good brother and all, i went. he looked pretty bumbed, but who aint in jail (think his pot was wearing off). he asked the judge to get out on a signature bond and the judge laughed and told him he was in there on a warent for failure to appear. then raised his bond to $7500. the next morning on the 7 was his arainment. so of corce i went. he pleaded with the judge again explaining he had a full time job and needed to get out to be able to keep it and what not. he plead guilty to all accounts and then the judge sentenced him to 30 days in county. i was thinking in my mind 30 ------- days for traffic ---- what the ---- ? any ways i'm going to go visit him later today and try to sneak him in some smokes becouse i'm assuming he is needing one............

p.s. not to mention he had won a "trip of a life time" through his work to california for all expence paid 5 day cruz and all that good ---- disneyland and all. he was sapossed to leave on friday but instead he is in county for trafic violation, sucks huh ?

umm I just got pulled over on Monday night going 22 over. Only 130 bucks so people buy my stuff in the classifieds. lol. Can't really feel bad cause he kinda set himself up for it.

That sucks. The judge seems to be an -------/bitch (depending on gender). I didn't think they could lock you up for 30 days just for a failure to appear for a speeding ticket. I gonna ------ protest. It's a waste of taxpayers money to have him in there. They need to release him to make room for somone who commited something or than a traffic violation. But yeah, that is shitty luck.

its not the traffic ---- that got him 30days in the hotel, its the failure to appear. VA is one of the most stric states when it comes to traffic fines/pumishment and on my 3rd driving on susp i got 5days and they let me serve weekends.



and the reason he HAD to go for the original ticket is because if you are facing jailtime for a traffic crime you must appear in court (DUI, Wreckless, etc)

That makes sense. Out here if you don't pay a speeding ticket you get a failure to appear. Then they suspend your liscense, but it's just a bench warrant and they usually won't take you to jail for it. They just issue another court date and take your liscense until you get it reinstated.

All of those things will get your ass locked up in the great state of GA, maybe not the no registration charge, but definitely the no insurance and no/suspended license...honestly I don't feel bad for you brother cause he talks alot of ----, but I would hate(and feel AWFULLY f@ckin'dumb) to go to jail for traffic violations....lol...And your brother shouldn't sweat missin' out on his dream vacation...doesn't Disneyland have "GAY DAY" more than once a year??

dude that sucks, almost two weeks ago 5 hours after my birthday i was picked up on a bench warrent because i missed court on april 6th(my ------- lawyer jewed me big time) he told me he was going to remind me the date because they set it back in september and then when i got out of jail and told him he said it wasnt in the agreement some family ------- friend. i also didnt know i was suppose to be paying 50$ a month on my fine, i thought i had a full year with interest, i also didnt do any community service. so pretty much i fucked my self for the review hearing anyways so i get put in jail. well i wasnt doing to well, because i went to court later that day on friday and i get a bail set at 900$ cash not to bad sence thats what i owe but my next court date isnt till next friday. so i called my parents to bail me out they wouldnt, and i couldnt get a hold of anyone else because they wouldnt let me use a non collect phone. so ------- ---- i give a mexican a letter with my friends name and number and wrote him what to say. so when he got out on saturday night he called my friend and told him i was in jail. later that night at midnight i get a call in the room im out, ---- ya, so first day i got out i busted ass on my community service, i still only got 26 in four days out of the 240 hours i need. and i paid my fine off and i stayed out of jail. i seriously cant stand being in jail, it would suck to be in there knowing your not getting out for a month or year or some ----. thats why i dont like jail. so i wish your brother good luck, and if i was you bust him out haha, i know i would be pissed if i was in jail for 30 days right now.

No ------ license, No ------ registration, no ------ insurance. and ur only expecting a ticket? thats the biggest no no in ca.

in SD, you can't even own a car without insurance. and no license = 500+ for being caught the first time. it double and tripples as u get caught but as long as you have registration and insurance. officer: "ohhh you dont have any of the above? please step out the car sonnnn"

Driving around with a warrant in a car that has no registration, insurance, and no license and a broken tail light. :S I can't imagine why they would have locked him up? :P

when you serve weekends you are stuck at "intake" level, thats where any inmates starts then spends 48-72hours there because of lack of med tests and phsyco evaluation and finding a permanant cell depending on your crime.
so you are stuck in your cell for 23 hours a day, you get that 1 hour for showers and ----. its really ------- boring, if you are lucky you get a cell mate but usually they try to avoid it for safety purposes.
the only thing that i cn say was interestin was that going in on friday nights (you still have to go through booking every weekend) and seeing all the drunk fucks getting brought in, kept things interesting untill you get into your cell

i had to be at the magistrates office at 6pm friday and got to leave sunday at 6pm, and they are very strict about times, both coming and going. i actually left at EXACTLY 6pm which was nice, no waiting or any bull ----.
