Oregon gas sucks
Yeah I'm still on vacation and bored waiting for someone to come home.
So I noticed that on the Sun Lakes camping trip that my gas mileage was pretty normal heading out.
The usual 30-32mpg I have been getting from Oregon 92 octane
Trip to Sun Lakes:
Fill up in Wilsonville, Oregon
Below 1/4 tank, almost empty
Drive to Everett, Washington
Fill up again
Drive to Sun Lakes
Trip Home:
Just under 1/4 tank left
Fill up near Sun Lakes in Ephrata, Washington
Drive to Longview, WA
1/4 tank left
Fill up there
Drive to Salem, Oregon
3/4 tank left.
Anyways, I did some math. From the oregon gas I got the normal 30-32mpg up to everett.
On the way home, From Ephrata to Longview I managed almost 40mpg, it was about 39mpg actual.

it was round trip johnny, same roads there, same roads back. the uphill time and downhill time isnt all that different. If I had to guess I'd say you spend more time going uphill on the way back.
