Ordered a O2 wideband today

My friends dad and I went in together for this so he can tune my friends talon, and my civic...I can't wait. Basically it comes out to be about the same cost as going to the dyno once, and now we have our own ;)

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

ya, I was doing lots of research before I bought mine, and I read alot of posts about the lm1 has a really shitty display and its hard to read at night. Not to mention it looks like a 1984 gameboy.

Is the wideband I have, I highly suggest it, especially if you already have a labtop. You use the labtop as a display and a datalogger real time. It has like 5 inputs for datalogging too, and for 279 bucks you simply cannot beat that price. I love mine!

I'll probably only be using it a few time to tune my car, and i'm not installing it in my car, so I don't car what it looks, like. It should do the job.

Damn you biggmik , don't bash my pride >:( ;)

Anyway, I think the diy kit from wbo2 is 'the ----', lots of goodies for a few bucks. It has all the capabilities it needs and it gives me a woodie all day ;D

biggmike 06-21-2004 05:47 PM

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

yeah i was going to go for the wbo2 one also but then i saw the zeitronix one, seems like mutch better deal and less DIY work, even the software for wbo2 seems like a little work to use and setup. i just bought a laptop since the zeitronix box has the super cool interface

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

I'm in the market for a wideband... Been hearing zeitronix and PLX and innovative... Which one is the better one for a decent price? Im just looking for a wideband 02 to tune a car not necessarily to use it as a narrowband or to have in my car. I just need to setup it up and never look at it until I need to do more tuning--there is already one too many gauges in my car as is...

thanks guys...

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

zeitronix's shipping suck! I paid extra for 3 days select service! But since it's a pick-up, it's gonna take longer than that. They can't just drop it off?

Anti-NA 06-24-2004 05:42 PM

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

i got EGT sensor, I didn't want the boost sensor, i think it's a bit pricey.

biggmike 06-24-2004 06:02 PM

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

i think its just right you might spend that much for a nice/accurate electronic boost gauge

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

hey bigmike, do you know if this kit has an narrowband output to feed the ecu? I tried searching everywhere without any luck.

biggmike 06-24-2004 07:13 PM

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

i dont think so. ask jeff he owns one, does it matter, no matter if u hop of a wideband or use your own narrowband ur going to get same signal

iam sure if it did it would say it so i say nope

Re:Ordered a O2 wideband today

Which O2 is he talking about ??? But yes, I have already send back my Lm-1. I had to pick it up at Fedex, I told the lady I'm going to have to send it back, so she put a big " REFUSE, DON'T WANT" on the box and I didn't even have to pay for shipping.
