Opinions on what I should do?
 

I'll keep it short and sweet cliffnotes style. Bought some stuff off a member ill leave unnamed for now last wednesday, figured it'd be out by friday or so but they did not ship out the stuff and said it'd be out by monday. Since monday I've found them to be online quite a few times and even made a new topic in G
D... and I've pm'd them multiple times regarding if they sent it out, for a tracking number etc to no avail :-\ I opened up a paypal "dispute" just a bit ago and was wondering if I should escelate this to a claim or not...

i had that happen to me a couple months ago with a member here also that didnt reply to pm's or emails.. i did the same thing you did and just opened a claim and emailed him that if i didnt have it or it wasnt shipped out by such and such date i would move it to a claim and get my money back... usually when they get a paypal notice they get it sent right out because nobody wants there money taken away

I just finished a dispute on pp he wont be able to do anything until he resolves the dispute and it can only be done through pp once u open 1 up all corospondance goes through them

I tried to email the person I was dealing with and pp intercepted it through my email at work and said you cant do that so if he wants to buy or sell through them it wont happen till resolved

Yeah I dealt with a few guys on here a couple years ago. They seemed all nice and stuff, until I didn't recieve what i bought..lol I had to file a paypal claim.. once they can't use their paypal they get freaked out and they are basically your bitch then. Did the guy have any sources or history of dealing with people??

He had tons of vouches, although the last vouch on the list said he didnt get everything :l

:) pay pals good because it leaves a paper trail,

once i brought something off ebay and paid and he claimed he didnt recieve it, i went to my bank and got the paper trail for the money, scanned it and emailed it to him, sent the item right out.. the best scammers seem like they are nice, otherwise how could they scam you??? hope you get what your after mate

$500 worth of turbo parts (not fromy scotty btw). I'm poor and $500 is a LOT of money to me.

Then it turns out I forgot about a little credit card payment I did recently and I didnt have all that cash in the bank I thought I did. 4 days after the fact the stuff was still not shipped and I asked for a refund and got none, understandibly.

If you didn't notice the nature of that post Julio made, that you referred to, he's going through bitch-induced self loathing and post-holiday depression. What he needs is a swift kick in the ass to get him moving, but a little understanding and forgiveness about lagging - after you get your ----, of course.

He's always struck me as a good dude, I figure you're in for a bit of a lag on his end but I don't think he's going to screw you.

I'm gonna be honest, there's been times it's taken me way longer than it should to ship ---- because I had to hit the snooze button a few more times, didn't have the cash, or didn't feel like getting off my ass to put some ---- in a box and go ship it. It's never taken more than a week or two though... Ask dude that bought an intercooler from me, took a week or two but he got it in great condition :P Sorry man!

Julio, don't know him but he seems like a decent guy from what I've seen. His name is julio though :8 so cut him some slack. Just kiddin mexicans...

It took me months to get compensation when I got fucked by someone on here, just had to threaten his rep and ---- went through. I'm sure julio will too.

He already did. :P Julio is mexican so you have to factor that in. There is going to be some sort of shadiness going on there. You will get your parts, just not in the timeframe you expected. :P

He's got my complete 20V 4age silvertop head and a header that he picked up for me like this past summer but hasn't shipped it out yet. I ain't worried though. He's just not the fastest shipper or sharpest beaner. lol. :-* Naw he still has it cause I haven't sent him the money to ship it out yet. lol.
