Don't those ******* have live axles in the back? Only VW I'd take would be a old Fastback or a Vanagon.

its a standard spindle on a lower control arm. rotor, 2 bearings, races, spindle.

Drive it first. Check for the usual used car bullshit, rust, etc.

Do you know what CIS is
Do you intend to work on this car yourself?

I think you might change your mind when you pop the hood.

lol, cis is no big deal. Plus, you can easily throw a digi 2.0 cross flow in there, then run it off digi or megsquirt.

i think its a good starter...

i mean if thats your price range its good...

id save up twice that and try and get a 240 but thats just my opinion...

no i dont have any idea what a cis is, im sure i can figure it out though. i would intend on working on the car myself, but not much more modifying then where its at, maybe a little more boost of coarse. anyone know what kinda boost levels the old 8v's can handle, the vw forums are so saturated with euro **** discussing which euro grill looks better i makes my head hurt.
