we jsut think if you want a good turn out, make it during warm weather. april/may aren't generally that warm, especially at night.

We would like to do this when its as warm as possible, we'll see, there is alot going on in the summer which makes it that much harder to plan meets like this one where you have to gather people from different aread some as far as 4 hours away. Like I said, I'll talk to Josh next week and we'll see what we can do.

Since i'm new to the turboing "scene" i will have to come. I should have all my parts gathered before end of april/May, and hopefully put on the car. If not i will show up to learn all there is to learn from you guys.

Chris you should stop by some time when you are passing through Belmont i'll show you what i've got so far. Manifold's looking pretty good.

My word of advice is come and learn first, see the ins and outs, then when you think youre ready you can try to have a go at it by yourself. that is how I did my first install on the EF a couple of years back, I was told about this site by the guy who sold me a Ko3 pos turbo, I went on and registered, did alot of reading, especially in the writeup/how to section. then I did the first attempt by myself, got my dad to weld me a manifold, had DSM rubber charge pipes and such, I even used an FMU, as sad as it sounds, it was the most ghetto setup I've ever seen, but it worked...for 2 weeks till the turbo gave. Its all about learning, you cant just throw some ---- on your engine and then run it without knowing exactly how everytihng works together.

I've been reading and learning on here for awhile now. I've been signed up for a bit too. I'm not a expert by any means but with all the threads and just general talking that goes on I would like to give it a go. My room mate knows quite a bit about turbos. Spoon fed sold me my turbo and he only lives 10 minutes from my house so if i ran into anything that was out of my understanding i'm sure some bribery with beer could help him, help me. My plan was to come to Exeter and see whats going on learn some tricks of the trade, meet other HMTer's, that kind of thing. Its all a learning process, right?
