now, can you just replace headgaskets on those without pulling the cab? and you only have to pull it if you stud it? iv heard different things. and that aint ---- for black smoke. how about a 60 series detroit with 7 inch stacks.

You can do gaskets without pulling the cab and you can do studs but you need to pull the heater box. Ford designed it this way and its the easiest way but If you didn't have a 2 post then I guess it wouldn't be easy. The cab comes off pretty quick, f150's do to. :P

that is the fastest way to change heads or head gaskets in F250-550 diesels, just pull the cab right off. Its not as bad as it sounds, the entire job is a ----- though

6.7l cummins is still smokin the fords around here.....sad really.....straight 6 turbo blowing by v-8 bi-turbo's pulling 5th wheels up the hill.....gotta love a Dodge!

It's not bad from a roll, but it's a stick, so it's kinda slow from a dig. Smashed my buddies 7.3L with a 5" exhaust and an edge on kill. Even with the play tires on it. :y but 50psi and a stock 400,000km's + hg don't play well together. :1

Not stock to that truck, but it is stock... It's an HX35.12 vs the H1C.18 that came on it. Just spools a little quicker. Yeah the Egt's get a little toasty if I stay into it for any time (1500+ pre turbo is easy) I have a GT4294 to go as a primary once this HG gets sorted out.
