old school supra

ok i went over to my moms house for my lunch today and she was talking about this house that her boyfriend has that was being rented out and the guy didn't pay rent for 8 months and then left the house but tore the place up when he did, like really bad. he even took the heating system out of it but he had left his car and a boat there for the last 6 months so her boyfriend took them both and told the guy to go ---- himself. so after hearing the story i started asking about the car, she was like "oh ---- i don't know, it's out back go check it out". so i went out back and looked, and was like "oh ----, older turbo supra!" ------- sweet. now i am thinking about trying to pick it up off of him for dirt cheap. body is in great condition, and the interior is hella clean too. not to sure about the motor though.

here are some pics

motors are ok
not fast stock by any means

but you can definatly make it a lot faster pretty easily.

it looks like a nice car and if you can get it cheap i'd do it

I have a 87 turbo i use as my DD and man its a fun car it has its problems like every other old car but with a little work it can be a real screamer downpipe, 3" exhaust ,CAI, and boost controller will get you 300hp but thats about as far as the stock turbo will take you. If its sitting there with the motor town apart check the oil and see if its milky it's more then likely a bad headgasket. They are common on the 7mgte because of the head gasket being under torqued from the factory but the bottom end of the motor is extremly strong some people push as high as 450-500hp out of the stock bottom end with out any problems and with a metal headgasket and arp studs or bolts you shouldn't have to worry. Even if the car has a bhg if you can get the car cheap its deff. worth fixing just make sure you do it right and use arp hardware and you'll be good to go. Also go check out supramania.com great place for mk3 supra info

yeah he had said that something was wrong with the motor but didn't know what it was or my mom just didn't listen to him when he was talking about it lol, that would be badass if it was a bad HG.

yeah your right but if you look at the picture the upper radiator hose is disconnected, which to me would say that the coolant has been drained because of something. would make sence if it had oil in it lol. oh well guess i'll see what happens
