Wow, everyone is breaking up. ^^^Almost exactly my situation minus the rings. Thought for sure I was gonna marry this girl. We were together 4 years. I just got so sick of the stupid fights all the time and constant bitching that I wanted to be single. Plus it was a long distance relationship. But now I'm really missing her. I want to call her and I also don't want to call because I don't want the same ---- all over again. She really is a great girl besides that and I keep thinking I'm missing out.

I really don't know what I want. I was with her for so long and I only dated a few girls before her that didn't mean ----.
So I sure don't know if I should try to get her back because it was the only serious relationship I had and the only girl that ever meant something to me.

I keep thinking that its a good idea to date other girls but I keep thinking that I want to be with the ex because of how good our relationship was at times. And if I date other girls I think that I would be wasting time that I could be using fixing things up with the ex. Its so hard to let go of someone that you still have feelings for. It feels like I still love her. I think maybe I should let it go but I don't know any better. Any opinions?

Sorry to thread jack but I thought this was relevant.

And to the people that keep saying if its meant to be than it will be. WTF is that supposed to mean? If neither of us call each other for whatever reason then its obviously not gonna work and that means its not meant to be? And if we call each other and get back together then it means that it is meant to be? ??? I think it takes some effort, not its either meant to be or not meant to be. Alot of problems can be worked out.

I broke up with my girl like 2-3 weeks ago and I'm actually had a little time over it. I kind of fell for her, but like I really think we're two different people.


Take a REAL close look and see if it would really work out or not. If you two are compatible. That's one thing I don't think her and I shared.

one thing you dont want to do is tool over the girl and think somethings going to work out,
then realize months later that youre a fag for wasting your time.
i know, i did it, and it jaded me on bitches for a loooooonng time.

that said i broke up with my then girlfriend twice for extended periods of time.we're married
with a kid and short of winning the lottery i couldnt be happier.

i think the key is loving the girls shortcomings, and her, yours.

anyway good luck. and if it doesnt work out, drink samuel l. jackson beer, youll be ------ fat bitches in no time.

I'm so mixed up right now too... the second we get back together, it'll probably be the same old ----. My plan is to work through the pain right now and just give it some time. Perhaps after we've both fucked a few more people, 1 of the following will happen:

a) We will both realize we want to get back together
b) She gets pregnant
c) I get a raging case of herpes
d) Both a and b
e) All of the above


I'm hoping just (a), but you never know... a raging case of herpes sounds like a good excuse to get off of work for a while.

Let her be for a while, and see if she comes back to you. She knows that you want her back (from you constant calling).

I've been with my girl for 3 1/2 years. She's my best friend, and we get along really well. She loves the boost, too :6

One of my best friends from highschool is really ------- hot. There was a point where me and the current girly had a little seperation (only a few weeks), and that other girl was the bestest friend I could have :6

i think its good if you think you can do long term.
