The Official HMT Highest Mileage Cars.
So here we go. To qualify to be on HMT's highest mileage, you must meet these requirements:
[b][color=red]1. You need 150 post minimum, this is for HMT members. 2. Pics of odometer are good but not required. Please put all the info you can about the car and a full pic. 3. This is for only current cars, not what it would have ran or anything else. And please post numbers for only your cars, not someone else's. 4. I'd like to do a top to or top 25 so to narrow things down so only post if you have more than 200,000 miles. Please be truthful, if something doesn't add up or looks like bullshit, it won't be added. I'll take all the top posts and organize them in another thread so start posting up. |

On the drive to work, the hatch turned 250,000 miles. Woot!

car has 250,000 on but current odo reads 185,000.
I lost 46,000 miles swapping in a EX cluster, then the speedo head died, rop in a buddys CX speedo head and lost another 19,000 miles........ |

What's the point of this? Shouldn't there be turbo cars being posted with high mileage? We all know that hondas can run for 500000 miles no problem

Give it time and people with high mileage turbo cars will post. My turbo teg doesn't even have 70K registered. If there are members with 500000+ miles hondas, that would be awesome. |

264,xxx cant remember the rest. in 91 civic hatch. smells like burnt oil and gasoline, but its cool, i figure my lungs are fucked up enough as it is and im preparing for the complete fall out of our atmosphere

well here is my beast with over 200 on the clock. well actually this is my wifes baby.just picked it up last april. everything except the clutch is stock.Attachment 27681 Attachment 27682 Attachment 27683
normaly I would not buy a car with this high of milage especialy a gsr. But the person we bought it from was the orignal owner and was in her 40's all highway miles. We paid 3500 for it wich for a 98 and the condition it was in I thought was a pretty good deal. The leather is even in nice condition. I will see if I have some pics around of my 93 accord. ex currently 372,XXX I belive. |

i can vouch for that, ive personally seen both cars. Boosted4life has what, 335k on his 90 accord? That car was beat to snot but was still running a while ago

I do about 100,000km per year
bought crx 6 years ago with 160,000 got to 240,000 rolled it back to 160,000 got to 250,000 rolled it back to 160,000 thinks she reads about 178,000 now so it should be around 360,000 km I guess |

dont have any pics right now but my ae92 toyota levin has 202xxx miles on it, and thats 'redlining every gear most of the time miles' doesnt burn excess oil either :y

My crx has 215k but is being stripped down to the bare of parts has we speak and sold car is cursed stock hf motor jdm carbed d15b sohc zc non vtec sohc zc vtec 12.1 compression sohc zc non vtec. I miss that build jdm d15b jdm d15b dohc zc I do swaps for fun. One of the d15b's spit out a rod for fun. |

the previous owner of my 4dr threw a rod from it's second dual point...took out the raiator and also left an OUTWARD dent on one of the fenders. pretty nasty :o

It had some front end damage where his girl had ran over top of a parking block and ripped the entire bumper cover up over the headlights. He also told me that it needed a new clutch and flywheel because it wouldn't go into gear. Sold it to me for $200. I was going to use it just for a parts car to do a B18B swap and rear disc swap into my 97 Civic EX. I got it towed home and realized the clutch and flywheel problem was as simple as bleeding the clutch. ;D Took the front end off and all it needed was to be attached on strait again. My wife, who was against me getting this car in the first place, started driving the car all the time and i lost my parts car. :-\ It still beats the ---- out of a new car payment... Allmost a quarter of a million miles on it and it doesn't burn oil or smoke at all. Still wish the B was in my civic. :'( |

'89 Civic DX, 289K miles. After driving it for seven months without a rear motor mount bolt I finally installed one, she runs mint.
I'll see if I can get a decent odo pic with the cell on the way to school in the morning. |

95.8 miles each day is going to add up. Luckily the drive is against traffic and it takes the same drive time as the last job. Just more scenery flying by. Would a slightly taller tire size help with gas mileage for freeway driving? |

yeah i drive about 70 miles a day. well actually 6 on 3 off, so the miles do add up.
