the blue lines are the new set up on 100% pump gas and 23-24 psi
the red lines are the old set up with race gas and more timing and 23-24 psi

he's done all the engine work himself. the only thing farmed out was me tuning the car and a new custom manifold since he doesn't weld well.

he's going to add cams, better fuel-pump, 5 bar map (crome at that time), and new clutch (it gave out on a 4th gear pull).

Notice the highest numbers are dynojet numbers? I don't know if it counts since I tune engines and build turbo setups for a living...

All the same here is one of the latest sheets. On a dynojet I'm sure that's at least 100hp more :)

yeah...thanks though, but i did tune it. i forgot to mention that was in 3rd gear too. i do most of my tuning in 3rd for time and so as to not beat the piss out of the motor. once i get everything done i'll let it cool a little and then do 4th to finish up. his clutch wouldn't hold on the 4th gear and it was making almost 100whp more by 6500 rpm. if it would have held it probably would've made 675-700whp. the aborted run is the 4th where the clutch wouldn't hold:

18g sucks ass. wish i had new more and read more before i did the impulse buy. sucks for power the internal wastegate cant hold 14-16psi it spikes then drops to 11. I am in the hunt for a 3inch exhaust and either a new turbo/mani or a 3 inch downpipe. we shall see what i come up with.

new numbers from last night 634 whp and 411 wtq, air temp was about 20* hoter than last time I dynoed.

power came in kind of late because of the gay ass drag mani that i'm running. i'm trying to cop a top mount for my built h22 but everyone is on serious back order so i may just relocate the wg on the drag and port the ---- out of it to see if it does any better for now.

edit: went back to the dyno yesterday and put down 509whp/387tq completely stock h23 bottom end. went to the track and ran a best of 11.5 at 128 missing 4th with a pretty shitty 1.8 60' O0 be shooting for 10's this thursday with a stock motor in a 2700lb (without driver) car

i have a fully built/sleeved h22 that is ready to drop in so i wanted to see what i could do with the h23 vtec that was in the car. i'll be going back to the dyno next week with some c16 and shooting for 500whp on an all stock motor. 40 more hp shouldn't be a problem seeing as how i made that power running 10.5:1 afr on pump gas (wanted to be sure to try and keep it as cool as possible). shooting for over 700whp with the built h22, i'm pretty sure that won't be a problem now though.
