Technically we can't have ---- load of people camp out, as they have to be like so many feet from the house/street in order to be legit. Just a few tents would work, so probably jago and jeff

I'm toying with the idea of renting a U-Haul E250 extended wheelbase van "$19.95/day in-town special" and disconnecting the speedo so I pay $0.43 in mileage. Toss a salvation army couch and a couple of folding camp chairs stolen off neighbor's porches in the back, and pack that ****** full of people.
I'd be leaving ashEVILle on Thursday day, chilling in Cincy Thursday night, making the push for TC early Friday AM. Defile snafu's bathroom proper, and head back Sunday noon to late evening depending on what is going on.
If I'm going to be ferrying a bunch of people I'm going to be less able to detour to pick people up.. for one or two people it's chill, for 3-5 it's ridiculous. If you want to ride the party van, chime in. I'll calc approx route and timeframe tonight, and figure out what mileage/gas money is going to run.

Just too let you know the in town uhaul's are the old piece of ---- ones that break down. My buddy and I did that when he moved to vegas. Well made it too vegas fine but on the way back it broke down in Barstow about 100 miles from the orginal rental area. So he got taxed with that. Just for killin ideas

The local U-Haul main facility got a dozen or so cherry new E250's, I planned on making a point of getting one of those.
Frankly, I'm seriously considering a rental car to save on hassle. I'd trust the beater deluxe to make the trip, but anything that would fit a couple guys in comfort?? The Volvo needs more work than I'd care to put into it right now.
