what is the deal with mosquito's up there?

for real, sounds like they eat people alive up over there. and poor skinnye can't gain any weight because the mosquitos keep sucking his blood

lol well since all the lakes/ponds by my house are man mad within the last couple years, mosquitos really haven't had a chance to impregenate them to much . i was just saying it so people wouldn't be so ----- about it

i've never really had a problem with them. Just like any place, after it rain's theres bound to be mosquitos out. Otherwise, its not really that bad

If its anything like northern canada/Algonquin park-- probably pretty similar because of climate and all the lakes-- it could be a nightmare depending on the weather leading up to those days. We went on a camping/canoeing trip to algonquin and the only place we found salvation from trillions of little bloodsuckers was camping on islands in the middle of huge lakes. The portages were literally something the bible would describe as hell. It was 70 degrees and i never took off my pants and hoodie, and my friend wore a net over his head the entire trip. The canoes would form bubbles of still air around your head as you carried them, letting millions of the little ******* swarm on your face and your hands. I lost it once, out in the woods. I sat down and covered everything but my face and hands and waited for the ******* to come. I sat there for 15 minutes and killed thousands of them until my friends came back for me with cans of bug spray. It didn't help much though. It was then that i knew there was no God
