Did you hook that electric turbocharger up to the ignition switch or to a constant +12? If it's hooked up to the +12 thats your whining noise. Your building boost at idle and getting better fuel economy ;)



Sounds strange ghetto, do you have power steering at all? Definately sounds like a bearing to one of the accessories might be whining.

yes i recently put in a pump but its not coming from there....chris (xenocron) and i both think its coming from the turbo, although it went away for a bit when we lowered my idle, but then it came back

seriously doubt it...im using a stealthmode oil setup but tee'd off for the gauge, which has been that way for a few weeks now and the problem just started today. I get roughly 20psi of oil pressure at idle, i dont see how the turbo could be getting starved, i was thinking about getting a restrictor since it blows a little smoke at wot sometimes when the pil pressure jumps up to like 75

my buddies card would whine sometimes.. well he recently upgraded the turbo and the noise was gone. that could be the problem (his stock turbo was shot to ---- though) :-\
