Re: OBX LSD First hand experince?
chris,
have one in my turbo lsvtec ef drag car.
on the drag radials and street tires, no issue.
on the slicks, every couple of runs we'd notice in the burnout box that the car would be pull to the left as one of the wheels wouldnt spin. Only happend the one weekend at the track, every other time we didnt seem to have an issue. 300+ at the wheels, with slicks and drag axles and it took the abuse, no issues.

quadtech, you do understand how a TorSen diff works right? If one wheel spins too easy in the water box (WTF you doing IN the waterbox anyways?) as if the whell was in the air, TorSen/Quaife/OBX isn't gonna do anything.
Yes, there is a OBX LSD for the cable trannys, same ring gear bolt pattern (small) as the B16/LS Hydro diffs.

Re: OBX LSD First hand experince?
If you look around you can get an ITR LSD for a reasonable price off ebay. I picked up one with bearings and ring gear for less than an OBX. I bet the obx is stronger but i have faith in the reliability of the oem unit and i am not making insane power.
