That's because you don't think, and the places you chose to loiter in the debt of night are the bodegas in which you purchase the amenities necessary to continue the solicitation of your anus. Primarily within the confines of East Village. To, no other than, lonely hipsters with too much daddy money and an overly abundant appetite for Bloomingdale's, cocaine and Morrissey. Troll more, you ------- peon.

Hey shoot me a PM if I am still here when you come down I'll take you to the "no name bar" the owner is promising one of our VP's a "Stephen" night so if you produce a DL with that exact spelling on it you get free drinks. I'm a Stephen there for the night lol.

Central Park.
Anything but Times Square.
Anything but anything in Midtown.

http://newyork.citysearch.com/profil...le_lounge.html - Buy a drink($5-6) get a free freshly made pizza.
http://newyork.citysearch.com/profil...es_frites.html - If you are in in the Village and don't go here, you are stupid. It's a hole in the wall(but very famous hole in the wall) place to get delicious french fries. They are more expensive than McDonalds but they are worth the extra dollars.
http://www.voldenuitbar.com/ - Belgian Beer bar. Pretty slick place despite beer prices being a bit hight.
Really it all depends on what you like doing. If you like Apple, go to the Apple store. If you like video games, go to the Nintendo store. If you like shoes, there are awesome shoe stores. If you love art, go to the art museums. NYC really has something for everyone, except if you love hunting and the outdoors. Then you are a bit fucked. Although anyone who loves the outdoors would have to be somewhat impressed with Central Park. In proportion to the island, the park is ------- huge.

The french fry place is good, I havent been there in a while. I like 8th St also, walking from 6th to bway or vice versa.
The Papaya King has good hot dogs. The South st seaport is ok, its on the east river side. The Intrepid (retired Battleship) Museum is on the West Side. Canal St. has the bootleg ladies' bags and you can get cologne for pretty cheap as well as Audio Electronics. Times square is full of peolpe pushing you around, and I dont like being pushed. I gotta say Times Sq is what a lot of visitors like, just dont spend a lot of money there, its overpriced. 42nd St has a lot of shops too. 5th ave is for the rich ppl., 125thst is harlem. 116th st is/was Spanish Harlem. The subway is clean and Grafitti free, and the maps will dhow you how to navigate, dont even think of driving, you cant park unless you pay $30 an hour.
