And.......... did it work?

Don't know. He was out of the little CO2 tanks when he was in it. I think he only uses it when he is about to shift for "the extra boost". Like ZexRex said though, I really doubt it does much. It's so small it' would be gone in no time. Now a big tank like ones used for paintball may work better. How effective CO2 is as an "extra boost"? I have no idea.

They use nitrous not co2. the cartridges are the same for the little nitrous and co2. the nitrous aka whipits are used for making whip cream dispensers at restaurants. i highly doubt co2 would do anything for you.

12 grams of nitrous = whats in one of those blue canisters = very little boost = inhale yourself and run around youll probly seem to accelerate faster.

I'd like to build a nitrous kit for an RC car using those canisters. I bet that would either kick ass or tear the head right out of the block.

I saw a guy take his T-Maxx and make it water-cooled. Had a radiator in the front and a water jacket around the block and everything. He didn't even run the cooling head on it. This is on the old stock engine that got to 270-300 degrees Farenheit safely and that was the normal range for them. His ran around 150-175. Pretty impressive. And to injector that would be sweet. I might try it now! :P

there was a review in an rc mag like almost a year ago cant remember which one probably rc car action or extreme rc car (if i werent lazy id go look it up) they tryed an rc nitrous kit basically they had a servo open up one of those small canisters and it would run the whole thing till it ran out lol anyways they said it had a bad case of detonation and completely melted the plug. as far as im concerned not worth it just like the rd logics supercharger. also i remember the water cooled t-maxx he used a water cooled pro .15 from a traxxas villan or the head anyways and had a lil resevoir and if i remember right a small fuel pump like they use on some airplanes dont think i ever saw the radiator tho.

You have to be sure to get the right sized dispenser. All the Nitrous cartridges that I have are shorter than the CO2 ones. I have seen places online that you can get differnt sized "crackers"/pumps that have a lever activation like the one shown.

It would be totallyh worthless in a car though. You would get very little if any power at all.

i did that once while driving... i crashed into a bridge.

its a bad idea to have a 4' tank in your backseat and friends filling ballons.
