steve, you are a businessman, you know that you need the pro classes to bring the big event sponsors in to have enough dough to run the events. why do you think stadiums have big company names on them, its neccesity.

They don't have many big companies investing in it anyway, because they're smart enough to know theres nothing coming back from the 150 tickets they sold all weekend. Replace the small amount of "corporate" dollars they have coming in with 2000 fans, more racers, and food sales and the "corporate" dollars they have now ain't ----.

I went to one NOPI event. I wont waste my money on that ---- again. Ive never seen so many posers in one place before. Felt dirty afterwords...

either way, you gotta have some deep pockets backing you to do it. you have to pay for ---- long before a fan or racer ever pays admission. investors are key, untill some privateer dips into his own funds thats the way its gonna be

What's the amount that microsoft is giving?
You have money for the next race when you have a successful race. Much like the days I had a hard time having 5 oil line kits in stock, and today I have 100. Money rolling over.

Tweek me and stealth being so cal kids know this the old imports races in california were huge 15,000+ for a weekend race without any major sponsors. Just your typical local shops and import small business doing there thing
I pray for the day it comes back. I think it will happen with more people coming out and not supporting nhra or nopi

i'd like to go to a BOTI event. the only thing that sucks around here is all the damn rich kids, they all go to the strip with sti's and evo's thinking they are drag cars. there are too many yuppies around here for there to be an event thats not over run by daddy's wallet.

I remember meeting jesus padilla before he ran the all motor class two years in a row.His 3 rotor all motor 1g rx7 was kicking everyones *** at least by a 1/4 second.They outlaw it saying its to big for the class cuz everyones bitching cuz he has no sponsors.Next year he goes faster with a 2 rotor and can skip two events due to running out of money/enough points to be a no show.---- his trailer had 1 backup motor and tranny that looked pretty rough.He did it for fun and always lost money even winning for the year with no sponsors.Nobody believes in poor racers till they run the ---- with brains not technology.
