It is different state to state. You can file it as an abandoned vehicle and if the registered owner doesn't reply within so many days it's yours. You can't buy it from ANYONE except the registered owner...legally. In AZ anyways....

Most of us are loosing out train of thought but in connecticut you would have to find a used car dealer to file for it get you the abandoned motor vehicle papers, then you could register it.

it normaly takes 90 days

you need to go put either something like a mechanics lien on it, or file for abandonded title, etc. take pictures of the cars condition espically if its in a condition most normal people would not want it in, and submit those with the application. They will be available to the registered owner, and as long as they have no interest in the car, you will get a title for it.

i have a friend who does this quite often, he has done two in the last few months

If you want replies don't use porn. It makes it impossible for people at work to reply and just distracts others who can look.

This is so much like every thread asking for info. It is almost always better to call the place that has the info rather than asking retards like us on her.

My cousin did something like this. Here if they put the sticker on your car that it will be towed on such and such date someone can tow it and then run it somehow and you have to respond. I don't remember exactly how he said they did it. Either way he got a free teg. A few months later it broke down and when he came back to get it it was stripped lol
