well one of two reasons. one, the motor is near its end, and i dont feel like wasting my time in putting a t on it just to have it choke on me. two, i figure since im gonna replace the motor anyways, why not do something odd and entertaining to myself. gives me something to do, plus its t-charged anyways from the factory, so i dont have to do a buch of ---- to it like a honda(not that i wont enjoy working on a Honda considering i own one). its just im tired of the same ---- in the same car. 350's here and there, im tired of hearing i got this solid 350 in my car. its all i ever hear and its old and played out for many years now. time for a change, and ill be glad to make it happen. lmk what ya think.

lol You are being a little optomistic.

If I remeber correctly he has an '82. The highest rated engine, 350 wasn't availible til '85, was 165 Hp and 240 Tq. What's sad is the GSR would totally wax the L03 in my RS.

i need a change man, the 350 is just to played out. yeah i know they make good numbers and all, i just feel like i need to stand out from the crowd.

*edit* most likely yes your gsr would cream me. my tranny is bs, its super slow, and it takes forever it feels like to reach 70-80mph. my hatch could outrun me i think.

I'd give you an idea that is different but its mine until someone else does it. :P

I hear you on the 350 thing. Its hard to argue with the power per dollar. I'd say LS1 but everybody and their mom is jocking those *******. You could do a bastard child FWD gen 3 3400 swap and turbo that. No you won't have gobs of torque but the redistribution of weight would haelp out alot in the corners. Ther was a guy on TGO that had a 2.8 Camaro that would beat the hell out of some V8 cars at the autox. I don't know if you are in the corners thing or not or just want some thing truely unique. Unfortunately f-bodies arre some pigs.

Are you ------- serious? A turbo 301? That thing is one of the biggest pi;es opf ---- GM has ever concievd next to the 350 Olds diesel.

The turbo 3.8 would nice as well. AKA '89 TTA.

Hey I just thought of something that would feed Random Strikes cravings for touque. Do a Duramax swap.

If it wasn't so fucknig tall I would suggest the 4.2 I6 from the trailblazers , but I don't think it would fit under the hood. Not to mention I think a new oil pan would be in order.

Man I could come up with bastard combos all day. In the end its whatever you want to do. If you do an RB swap it will be an *** load of fab work. Good luck and post progress when you decide what you are going to do.
