We really do have a "Make My Day" law. Of course it must be justified, etc, etc. but the standing joke is based on the statute.
Any situation where you feel your life or another human life is at risk merits the use of deadly force pretty much any state you go to. The Make My Day law was more to give homeowners peace of mind and discourage criminals from entering homes without permission. There have been numerous deaths because of break-ins, etc. that were completely protected by said law though...not a myth. Mike |

Oooooh, I forgot the most important part of the law...your car is considered an extension of your home so the law applies to your automobile too!

Just make a real kill switch at the door. when you doors opens Kaboom car blows up...now no one will be leaving with your stuff.
