they electrode idea is certainly satisfying, but the would be thief can sue for injurys while atempting to steal your car. the liability issue. its bullshit. complete and utter bullshit.

however, if you have a no tresspassing sign posted, blow thier ------- heads off and be completely in the right. assuming you own your property.

So, just by posting a no tresspassing sign, you can kill someone and not go to jail? If so, thats cool. Those Jehovah's Witnesses have another thing coming then son!!

I'm going to get a "no trespassing" sign just because it's funny.

No. It doesn't really matter how you kill someone, you can still be sued or go to jail. Even if some crazy fucker jumps in your window at midnight popping caps off from his Glock wounding you with stray bullets and you shoot him and kill him, his family can still sue and you could serve jail time. The law is fucked. I was very pissed to learn this. Someone breaking into your car is not a valid legal reason to shoot/kill someone. As much as you want to and as much of a favor you would be doing the world, you legally can't. :( I'm going to start a new government where it will be legal and people over 60 can't drive. :)

Heheh, in Colorado we have a law called "Make My Day". It basically means that if someone enters your residence un-invited you can legally kill them (fearing for your life of course ;) ). As long as you don't invite them in, may god have mercy on their soul.

There is a standing joke in Colorado that if you shoot somebody make sure they fall in and not out... ;D

There was an incident here in western Washington a couple of years ago where a 15 or 16 year old kid broke into an elderly mans house. He was climbing OUT of the house through a window when the homeowner shot him in the back with a shotgun and killed him. No charges were pressed.

I don't know the exact laws in Colorado, but that sounds crazy to me. Kinda like a myth. That whole thing about making sure you shoot them when they are in your house is crap. It doesn't matter. There was a guy who shot someone in self defense in a life or death situation and he was outside his house. He had that idea in his head about making sure the guy is inside your house and thought he would get in trouble so he dragged the guy inside his house to try to save his ass. Well, the cops quickly figured out where the guy was actually shot at and ended up arresting the guy for tampering with evidence and first degree murder. If he would have just left the guy in his front yard he would have been ok because the shooting was legal, but since he moved the body it made him look like he was trying to cover it up. I'm not sure if the charges stuck, but I'm sure he didn't get off clean. If you shoot someone, make sure it is a life or death situation. If you can run away to avoid shooting someone, you are much better off. The law even requires you in certain circumstances to try as best you can to avoid the situation and not use deadly force. I think that is bullshit. I'm not running out of my house to avoid blasting some dudes face off with a 12 gauge. What if he gets a hold of my guns? Then the situation gets worse and I feel like a stupid little bitch for running away from the dude and letting him loot my house. >:(
