Honda stopping the S2000 and replacing it with the new XGA to compete with the new Skyline coming out. ITs going to be a 3 liter V6 with 320 hp and will come with the honda SH-AWD system. its going to price around 40-50 k

The New NSX is going to have a V10 engine not a V8. I think i posted something before saying it might have a V8 or V10 but its confirmed its going to be a V10.

The NSX i would expect to have a V10 for sure as i think they will want to compete with Toyotas new super car which will be here in a couple years.I thought the S2000 sold well though?

nah the pic in the one that looks like a photochop of the S2K is fake but they are replacing the car with the XGA


it sold decent but not as much as honda expected. plus with all the competition coming out with the new RX-7(or replacement) Skyline, Evo X, and Supra..Honda needs something diff.

the new xga sucks and the nsx with a V10 is trying to compete with the viper,honda should stick to the s2k i like the body style and it seems like the xga is way heavier than its predecessor.

there is no car that i know of from japan in 2006 that can beat the c6 z06 in any way. no matter what the price is.

if there is something is a one off "race car" that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars

which car are you talking about? the gtr z tune? if it can barely hang with a gallardo and a m5 is has absolutely no chance against a c6 z06. the c5 z06 would be a better match for it

Ya thats my plan hopefully be the end of this year. One thing I have learned is a crx or civic doesnt impress any girl over 18. Nothin like havin a car worth 2g's to impress the ladies.



I have to say though the time I drove my friends s2000 its a little under powered but handling/brakin made me smile

You probably don't know what a turbo is but thats what I would put on an S2K if I got one. :P But I'm sure you'd attempt some all motor voodoo magic or whatever you NA guys do to molest power out of a motor ;)

I actually drove the dh-racing.com 9 sec car when I was 20 so I know a thing or two about turbo cars :) atleast drivin them. Although I wasnt close to Daves times when I drove it


The car was actually dave from dhr's also the s2k. It made 235 whp. Pulled the head and manifold 3 weeks after he bought it,barnd new. Us desert kids love grindin metal

the s2k i a great road racer i've seen it run a few times at the california speedway when they do the road courses but not many go run on the 1/4 mile.

no different than an SVT Mustang. Special Vehicle Team is a part of the ford company that is designed to make the highest performance cars. Nismo stands for Nissan Motorsports who also do the same thing. SVT Mustang... Nismo Skyline :P

I assum the v10 NSx will be faster then a covette or it better be :l

knowing how the same chassic/techology and ALMOST the same engine/tranny has been used for the pass 16 years. I assum the changes will be huge and bring the NSX back up to the "moden" level of performance in it`s class. 300horse just won`t cut it as the their top of the line model as of now, it was impressive back then when it first came out and it still is, if you ignore the speedometer :P

The NSX would have been popular if it were priced for the way it performed. The NSX is a high $30,000 car not a $90,000 car. I bet alot more NSX's would have sold if they were priced the same as a G35 instead of a Viper
