But I agree ---- Audi. Always Under Diagnostic Inspection

Anything not Japanese is asking for trouble. When it does break, it will break you.

I would get an automatic wrx. No major problems and enough parts laying around that it wont kill you if something does break.

It was a 2.7t and i can promise you under no cuirumstance would this A6 handed an ass to anything. Only had like 78K on it and there is not doubt in my mind that my huge ass 6000 lbs pilot would have filet'd its ass. they dyno 190whp stock. Less than 200 in a 4500 lbs car is slower than death.

IS300 doesn't even fall into the category of his poll as far as space goes. As far as mpg, I avg about 20c/28-30h depending on speed. Car has an awesome fdr though that really helps with mileage. Not quite as good as johnny's 904.452 mpg his mustang or camaro gets, but you get the point.

First off, an A6 does not fall into the 10K category. A decent one would go for 16k+
The one you drove was busted ass broken. Your numbers are wrong too, they usually put 265ish to the ground, and make well over 300lbft. Dont listen to internet fools with MS paint dynographs.

Dont mistake me for someone who gives a ---- about an Audi, just wanted to set the record straight.

So lets see...

1. $10kish price
2. Enough power to outrun an SUV
is all you really care about, your choices are limited. None of the mentioned cars are going to get that great gas mileage, and none are really in the 'reliable' category, so I think I would go with the type S since newer nissians fall into the "Fail" category with most new hondas. At least with the Acura ppl will think you have some cash...

Then again, that might be a bad thing if you have family members that like to bum money from you. Just tell them to ---- off.

you know not that i want to argue with you, cause once again ---- audi, but ive been doing the footwork on this for roughly a month. Its a stretch at 10K but you can find em on the lot for 12 but who pays sticker.

\heres a stock audi dyno'd at 191

they are fail. Now if you want to mod them then different story a reflash commonly gets them like 50 whp so sayith interweb lore but I don't know bout that. I just know what i looked at and drove. I came home to google it wiki it and all that cause i couldn't believe it was that slow.

and the s types have tranny issues from 02 - 05. so far i haven't heard anything from the Nissan camp. What sort of issues do they usually have? this is the ---- i was hopin to hear. wrench twisters what do you work on less? lol

that 2.7t has good potential and modding one doesn't make it anymore unreliable than it already is haha.

only problem with those is that i hear the tranny is spendy when it goes. but the auto is a dog, the 2.7t in a stick is a world of difference.
