Lets just put it this way, owning a DSM is like having a retarded child, you love it to death, but you are always having to fix ---- on it and you hope it doesn't embarass you in public.

Probably cause you abused it or something. Either that or you jsut didnt take care of it i gaurantee that if you change the oil on a regular basis and have the system flushed and belts replace and what not at the regular matenanced time nothing will go wrong. However if you push it to 6.5k every time you shift, beat on it and treat it like ---- cause its a mitsu. , and roll around with i/h/e like your even fast anyways then somehting is bound to go on you. Also the CW issue doesnt apply to these motors they are talking about the N/A 4G series and most of the time CW is caused by the 2nd gens difirentiation in design of the oil squirters as opposed to the 1g design.

basically.

My cousin has the Hahn turbo kit on his car man.. and to be completely honest.. its slow as balls :3 we were running 5 psi which I know aint ----, spooled up low and it was just kinda slow from there, driving my moms van afterwards I think the van was faster :l

No offense sinister you should of slapped your cousin for using the hahn kit. if he jsut bolted it all up and didnt tune it then he is running the stage one kit that cost like 2600 bucks and is running 5psi non intercooled. that kit only makes like 200 to the crank in a car that weighs like 2700 lbs stock with no one in it. also that kit is using a super 16g that comes off a stock Evo 8 however keep in mind that the evo is running 8.8 c/r and cccording to Mitsubishi, the twin scroll turbo is making 19 psi at wide-open throttle at 3500 rpm and 16.2 psi at WOT at 6500 rpm. it makes 276hp@6500. so basically at 16.2 psi the 4g63 (2.0L) is making 276hp to the crank (http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/fe...303scc_lancer/) . thake that same turbo put it on another 2L and only run 5 psi.....wont seem to impressive.

Re: New toy ------> update track time

I went to Bithlow here in orlando with my rs to see what is would run stock on all season tires. the car has 67K miles on it and i kept in the spare, jack, and my audio stuff ( 2 crossovers and my amp along wiht my speakers - sub). i just wanted to see what it would run basically as if i pulled a 99 eclipse off the street and ran it. I was my first time to the track and i averaged a 17.6 quarter ( i weigh like 300lbs) my 1/4 got worse every time because i didnt have traction. by the third run i nailed a .091 r/t aginst my friends 06 wrx tr (he hit a 14.9 in the quarter and a .41 r/t) I will try to get the time slips posted up but i need to find a scanner.
